Home/School Agreement
You can download a copy of the Home School Agreement.
The agreement sets out what Parents can expect of the school and what the school expects of parents. Whilst the agreement is not compulsory, we consider that the majority of parents would wish to support it. If you disagree with any aspects kindly contact the Headteacher.
Please sign the agreement. Keep one copy and return one to the school.
Visiting School
For the safety and security of the pupils all visitors to the school must report to the Reception via the main front entrance.
Worries and Concerns
All worries and concerns are best dealt with in the first instance through a consultation with the class teacher, or if felt necessary the Headteacher. In the vast majority of cases problems are satisfactorily resolved in this manner. However should parents remain displeased with the school they have the right to complain to the Governing Body.
At the end of the school day you will normally find the Headteacher. Deputy Headteacher and Senior staff in the playground.
Our purpose is to see the children out of school safely, in an orderly manner and to be available to parents. Please approach us. If we cannot deal with your enquiry immediately, we will certainly follow it up. If necessary we will arrange further appointments.
Helping in School
We can never have enough help and really appreciate those who can spare a little time in School. Usually helpers work with class teachers, perhaps assisting small groups or individual pupils. However we are always grateful for parents willing to help run our library, or with other interests to offer.
Although the school no longer operates a Parent Teacher Association there are many extra-curricular events during the year where we call on parents to lend a hand.
Please let us know if you are prepared to give a little of your time occasionally. If you are interested, please ask we can put you in touch with others who help regularly who will willingly tell you how they find us.
