All pupils attend out-of-school activities during the year. These are visits associated with work children are involved in at school or clubs they attend. Parents are usually invited to make a voluntary contribution towards the cost of some activities. We endeavour to keep costs to a minimum and every child attends regardless of whether they make a payment. We do, however, reserve the right to cancel visits if there are insufficient contributions. Parents who find it difficult to provide money for visits need only have a ‘confidential’ talk with the class teacher or the Headteacher/Deputy Headteacher. Embarrassment to the child will be totally avoided.
Pupils whose behaviour at school is poor will not be permitted to attend out-of-school activities.
