The school aim is to create a safe and secure environment for pupils and staff.
Measures taken to ensure security include:
- All visitors using the main entrance and reporting to the School Office
- Staff and Visitors wearing identification badges when in school
- External doors that cannot be opened from the outside
- Security cameras and lighting, internal and external
- Playgrounds are locked during the day
- The use of the school mobile phone and walkie-talkies for emergency communication
- Security fencing to the school grounds
Governors expect all parents and visitors to behave in an acceptable manner. Aggressive behaviour towards staff or pupils is treated seriously and may result in police intervention or legal action.
